South African residents are required to obtain the necessary tax clearance certificates in line with their foreign investment allowance and may not use credit or debit cards to fund their international account.
IG does not provide advisory or intermediary services.
You have no recourse to anyone should you be deprived of your funds in any way whatsoever. If your account is at any moment inadequate to cover your exposure then it is closed and confiscated. If you owe money to IG you are in big legal trouble due to what you have agreed when you opened the account. This situation is just a matter of time away.
